Vehicle mechatronics engineers specialising in commercial vehicle technology perform maintenance on vehicles for the industrial transport of persons or goods, keep them up to date and equip them as needed with superstructures, trailers, supplementary systems and special fixtures. They also inspect and provide diagnostics for vehicle technology systems. They lubricate moving parts, exchange defective electrical or mechanical components, eliminate damages to chassis and change lubricants, brake fluid and hydraulic fluid.
